Almost the end
Hey everybody! I was just looking at your e-portfolios and I think you are making very good progress (well, most of you--some of you have a lot of work to do in the next couple of weeks!) They need to be complete by December 8th at midnight. Remember, each activity should have the source and be labeled. You should have a label gadget in your layout so it is easy to see how many posts you have in each category. If you don't have one, here is what you do:
1)go to layout
2)click on "add a gadget"
3)click on labels
You need 4 activities in each section and 8 journal posts. Also, don't forget to do your last homework assignment--Check out at least 3 people's blogs and write some comments on their posts. Don't forget to write your name!!!
Good luck finishing!

First Check
Hey everybody! I just finished checking all your blogs and they are really looking good. I noticed that many of them are registered in Spanish. If you use the English version there are a lot more options and it is easier to work with. If anyone figures out how to change that please write a comment and explain how. If you want to learn about how to put on video or music--check out Laura's blog, http://kosoingles.blogspot.com/ or click on the link below. Paula did a great job at posting her activities and clearly including the activity, reflection, soure and label. Check it out so you can see how I want your blogs to look-- http://www.portfoliopaulinita.blogspot.com/ Also, Elisa did a really good job on her reflections-- http://www.elisaqn.blogspot.com/. If you want to participate in a survey check out Ligia's blog-- http://lixina89.blogspot.com That's all for now--keep up the good work!!!

Scavenger Hunt
Activity: I did a SAC worksheet where I had to read a goal, find different activities in the SAC and then write the source.
Reflection: I liked the activity because I learned how to use the different resources in the SAC and I'm no longer confused about how to write sources. However, it was a little difficult and I think I need more practice in finding activities.

Posting Activities
When posting your activities you must include 3 things
1) The activity (the completed activity or a written description)
2) A reflection
3) The source
When posting, you should write a title for the activity and the category in the label box (Speaking, reading, etc).
For speaking and listening, a recording is preferable but not necessary.

Portfolio requirements
In your e-portfolio, you must include the following categories--READING, WRITING, LISTENING, SPEAKING and ACADEMIC. When you add an activity, write in the label section the category(for example, this post is labeled Requirements). By the end of the semester you will have a total of 25 activities(5 in each category), plus 10 journal entries. You must post 2 activities every week plus a journal entry, where you can write about anything from your progress on your blog to the movie you saw last weekend. You also must comment on your classmates blogs at least 2 times a month. I will check your progress every few weeks and without warning--so be sure you are keeping up with your work. Furthermore, have fun and be creative (yes, points will be given for this)--add pictures or videos(and nothing that needs to be censored, please), add links or share items with your classmates and the rest of the world, post your own surveys, or anything else you want--this is your space to show off to the world! And when you learn a new trick or something cool you can do with your blog, write a comment on this blog and let me know. Good luck and have fun!!!
